They’re still natural, still long-lasting, still adored by plenty of dogs… they just follow a different recipe and don’t include the premium Nak milk formula used in our new range - which is why you’ll find these at a bargain price.

Ingredients:

Yak milk, cow milk, lime juice, salt, natural flavour extracts (where applicable).

Typical Weights:

Small: 30–40g

Medium: 50–80g

Large: 90–120g

(Natural variation is normal.)

Natural Variation

Because these bars are handmade, variation in size, shape, colour and weight is completely normal. This does not affect chew quality or safety.

Staining Notice

Although most of these chews do not normally cause staining, some flavoured varieties may mark light fabrics or carpets.

If staining is a concern, we recommend offering the chew on:

• a washable blanket
• a hard floor
• or your dog’s usual chewing mat

Feeding & Safety:

• Always supervise chewing
• Allow your dog to soften the bar gradually
• When the end becomes too small, microwave it for 30–90 seconds until it puffs (let it cool fully before serving)
• Always provide fresh drinking water

FAQ

How are these different from your new Yak Bars?

These follow a simpler recipe with a much lower ratio of yak milk. They’re still natural and long-lasting but may vary slightly in hardness or flavour.

Are they safe for strong chewers?

Yes - but if your dog is extremely powerful, one of our premium XL/XXL Nak-milk bars may be more suitable. Dogs should always be supervised and the yak should be removed if it splinters or becomes small enough to pose a choking risk.

Can puppies have these?

Only older puppies with fully developed adult teeth.

Why are these on clearance?

We are transitioning exclusively to our premium Nak-milk range. This batch is simply old stock - still great quality, just using a different recipe.
